Heads Up in Design Wars!

Today, I want to share with you my impressions about Heads Up, the new Read Heart yarns. I have known this yarn since it has been chosen for the new Design Wars Challenge round.

When I received my packet and I could have this yarn in my hands, a lot of ideas came to my head. My first impression was fantastic. It has shining and saturated colours and a soft touch. I was dying for using it.

Heads Up is a mixture of 80% acrylic and 20% cotton, the result is a lovely and fantastic yarn with a magnific definition stitch and soft and it is very easy to work with. It is a very warm yarn because of its composition, which is perfect for winter projects such as gloves and scarfs, although you can also use it for funny works like baskets, carpets and a lot of other different things.

If you choose this yarn, you should use a crochet hook K (6.5 mm), although I have used an H hook, because I wanted to get a more tighten final effect for my Design Wars project. You will feel very confortable working with it and being Bulky you will be able to complete your works in a quickly way.

Heads Up is available in 20 shiny and happy colours, which are ideal for One and Two Company Designs. You can find it in skeins of 3.5 ounces and 106 yards (97 m).

Where can you buy it? You can find this fantastic yarn in Red Heart website (www.redheart.com).

Try it and you will be delighted!!!
